Application of formation resistivity in casing wells

The XX well produces three sub layers, Es212, Es2131, and Es2132, and was shut in in November 2002 due to high water content. The casing resistivity logging shows that the Es212 and Es2131 layers are severely flooded, while the Es2132 layer is not utilized. The single production of the unused layer resulted in an oil production of 21.5t/d, with almost no water content.
