Shengli 2 Block of Shengli Oilfield SP Combination Flooding Project

Shengli 2 block of Shengli Oilfield SP combination flooding  project is the National 863 project “high temperature and high salinity reservoir pilot project”.The reservoir temperature is 83℃, salinity is 25 thousand and the comprehensive water content is up to 98%.These all belongs to the difficulties that appeared in the tertiary oil recovery.So the requirement of the temperature resistance and salt resistance of polymer and surfactants are much more higher.

The group relies on a strong team of experts in the field of surfactant research and development. The developed anion nonionic system surfactant products that are suitable for the development and use of high temperature and salinity reservoirs.The anti mineralized degree is 100-200thousand and the temperature resistance can be up to 110℃.

From January 2009 to January 2013, the water cut fell from 97.2% to 90.8%. From January 2009 to January 2013, the daily oil production increased from 24m3/d to 76m3/d Technical principles and advantages .

The SP combination flooding technology is a method of increasing the oil recovery significantly by injecting surfactant for EOR on the basis of polymer flooding.

From the successfully implemented SP combination flooding projects,the recovery rate generally increased about 10%.the two element composite projects have been implemented in China, the recovery rate generally increased by about 10%, compared with the single polymer flooding, The SP combination flooding can increase the recovery rate about 5%. And it also has obvious advantages when compared with ASP combination flooding on technology and sustainability.

Scope of application:

The technology of SP combination flooding is suitable for the high water cut late stage of water injection development or reservoirs after polymer flood. And the reservoirs that have perfect injection-production system,favourable well conditions and complete logging,core,fluid properties and dynamic data of water injection development have more prospects for promotion.
