Currently there are 14 professional and senior experts in the technical center. Among them, two experts are entitled to the state council special allowance,and many have won the national petroleum ministry technology award and have many invention patents. There are 5 outside experts, 50 technical researchers with a college degree or above and 6 management personnel in the technical center which has reasonably structured science and technology team and the advantage of innovative talents in the same industry.
In recent years, the technical center has developed over 40 surfactant series products of conventional reservoir for binary compound drive, 20 surfactant series products for injection with heavy oil wells steam stimulation, 30 comprehensive treatment series products for tertiary recovery fluid. Currently, there are 8 national invention patents, 13 utility model patents and 6 software copyrights. The technical center has undertaken 5 provincial technical innovation projects, 3 municipal small and medium enterprises special fund projects in 2016, municipal small and medium enterprises science and technology innovation fund projects and Dongying district talent demonstration project in 2015.
The company has more than 60 sets of all kinds of research and development, testing, advanced product quality testing equipment and simulation workshop production of small reaction kettle synthesis equipment，such as ZL-2 surface tension apparatus, organochlorine detection equipment, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, TX-500C interface tensiometer, abbe refractometer, gas chromatograph, NDJ-8S rotational viscometer, kinematic viscometer, small reaction kettle synthesis equipment, closed flash point apparatus, crude oil demulsifier tester, small electric heating reaction kettle, inorganic salt content meter and reaction kettle of field tester, metering tank and nitrogen making equipment and so on.
