The company's product is an oil soluble polymer with a long alkane main chain and polar side chains. When added in small amounts, it can greatly change the crystallization state of paraffin in oil products, reduce the pour point of crude oil, and improve the rheological properties of crude oil in mining, gathering, and transportation processes. It is mainly used for pour point reduction of high wax crude oil and has been widely used both domestically and internationally, achieving significant results. At present, our unit has dozens of types of pour point depressants, covering four categories: maleic anhydride copolymers, poly (methyl) acrylates, EVA modified materials, and nitrogen-containing polymers.

Application

This series of products is suitable for crude oil pour point reduction during the extraction, gathering, and transportation of waxy crude oil in oil fields; The product should be designed according to the requirements of the scheme and used in conjunction with the on-site process flow. It is recommended to add a dosage of 500-3000ppm.

Classic case

The R oil field in a certain country in Africa has a high content of crude oil wax, with carbon chains mainly distributed between 18-28. The crude oil has a high content of gum and asphaltene, and the pour point of the crude oil is around 33 ℃. According to on-site requirements, it needs to be lowered to below 24 ℃. Our company's crude oil pour point depressant product is added to the process at a concentration of 1500-2200ppm, and the pour point of the crude oil is reduced to 23 ℃, which is equivalent to the performance and effect of a well-known international company's product used on site. At present, our company's crude oil pour point depressant products have accumulated over 20000 tons of usage on-site in the region.
